Variety: 100% Brancellao.
Appearance: Clear, deep ruby.
Nose: Clean; mixed aromas of jam & licorice with violet & almond blossom notes.
Palate: Bright cherry & eucalyptus with excellent minerality.
Vinification: From vines planted on slopes with a southern exposure, in slate and sandy loam with good drainage and which only provide moderate yields. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, aged for 12 months in French oak then another 12 months in old Burgundy casks.
Recommended Food Pairing: Turkey.
