Variety: 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo).
Appearance: Clear, deep ruby.
Nose: Clean, medium intensity. Aromatic with berries, spice and hint of smoke. Wild herbs, citrus and restrained fruit.
Palate: Dry. Medium-bodied, with finely-grained tannins that are dusty and are slightly rustic. Fresh, with good acidity; lighter bodied for a Ribera del Duero.
Vinification: From 80-year-old, ungrafted vines planted in limestone, granite, and clay. Fermented in stainless steel with early racking, minimizing skin contact, and aged in used oak barrels. Not fined or filtered before being bottled.
Recommended Food Pairing: Red and white meats (duck, pork & turkey), vegetables, meat pies and stewed mushrooms.
