Varieties: 95% Tinto Fino, 5% Merlot & Albillo.
Appearance: Clear, medium ruby.
Nose: Clean. A bouquet of cocoa, oak, spice along with licorice & cherry aromas. Elegant, subtle with remarkable depth of aromas such as spice, incense, and toast.
Palate: Dry. Full-bodied. Mixed dark fruit notes, toasted notes & cherries in liqueur. The palate is chewy & long. Fresh, flavorful and finessed.
Vinification: Planted in clay soil, rich in limestone, the vines must cope with harsh weather conditions and end up giving low yields, producing concentrated wines. Manually harvested, aged 26 months in French & American oak barrels.
Recommended Food Pairing: Pair with coffee-marinated lamb skewers, beef stew, roast pork, or steak.
