By placing an order for shipment, you authorize us to engage a common carrier for delivery. Despaña is not responsible for any breakage or damage of wine by common carrier. Insurance will be added to all shipments at an additional charge unless you assume all responsibility.

We deliver all the way to 125th Street and parts of Brooklyn (Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Dumbo, Fort Greene, Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens and Park Slope). Our delivery rates are calculated according to zip code, as listed below. We will make every effort to provide same-day delivery for orders placed before 6pm. Please note that same-day delivery may not be possible during the holiday season, busy weeknights, or weekends. Monday & Tuesday delivery is currently not available. Many states prohibit direct shipment of wine from New York retailers. Consequently, we are not able to ship directly to all states. By law we are not allowed to ship Spirits and Cider, and only available by local delivery or in-store pick up. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We accept returns of opened wines with signs of cork taint ("corked" wine), with original sales receipt, within 30 days. We will replace the defective bottle or exchange it for a product of equal value. We do not refund payment. We will not accept returns of unopened bottles or wines that are not corked. Proper storage is crucial to maintain the quality of wine. Because we cannot control how wine is stored after it leaves our store, we do not accept returns of unopened wine. Additionally, we do not accept returns of wines over ten years of age.
The purchaser is responsible for all applicable excise, sales and use taxes due to your state related to the purchase of any taxable goods.
