Variety: Palomino Fino.
Appearance: Clear. Deep amber with gold reflections.
Nose: Clean. Pronounced aromatically with date, almond & herbaceous notes.
Palate: Dry. Medium bodied with complex nutty, oxidtative notes & a dry, persistent finish.
Vinification: A newer offering from a classic bodega, the Leonor is 12-years-old on average & is the base wine that produces their Palo Cortado Apostoles. The fruit is sourced from two pagos, Carrascal & Macharnudo.
Recommended Food Pairing: Roasted, stuffed artichoke with aged Manchego & breadcrumb.
