Nose: Clean. Pronounced aromatically & subtly complex red fruit, & tobacco notes on the nose.
Palate: Dry. Medium-bodied with lively acidity. Fruit notes like cherry & spicy aging notes like clove. Persistent & powerful on its finish.
Vinification: From the first of the Spanish properties to receive Vino de Pago recognition. A single-estate wine from vines planted in silt, loam & clay soils in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The Atlantic climate provides high variation between day & nighttime temperatures which make for high-quality grapes with complex flavors.
Recommended Food Pairing: Roasts.
