Appearance: Clear. Medium lemon with brilliant reflections.
Nose: Clean. Pronounced stone fruit aromas with floral, spiced & balsamic notes.
Palate: Dry. Full bodied with a waxy, ample mouthfeel, citrus & aging notes.
Vinification: Hand harvested from vines planted in the Rioja Alavesa. De-stemmed & fermented 50% concrete and 50% oak (80% French, 20% American). Aged in French & American oak for 8 months. 300 cases made. Organic in conversion to biodynamics in 2008 vintage.
Recommended Food Pairing: Tortilla & white asparagus.
