Appearance: Clear, deep ruby red.
Nose: Clean. Pronounced, fully-developed herbaceous notes, matured fruit aromas & a bouquet of toasted, spiced notes.
Palate: Dry, bold & full-bodied with spicy, tasty blue fruit flavors on an elegant body with fine tannins & a long finish.
Vinification: From low producing vines, as old as 100 years old. De-stemmed & fermented in oak vats before being aged in new French oak for 18 months.
Recommended Food Pairings: Turkey, guinea fowl or pheasant.
