Varieties: 50% Albarín Negro & 50% Mencía.
Appearance: Clear. Deep ruby.
Nose: Clean. Medium intense, peppery dark fruit & spices.
Palate: Dry. Light-bodied with fresh red fruit notes with excellent minerality.
Vinification: Produced from grapes grown on extremely steep slopes in Asturias, planted in quartz & slate soil & are farmed biodynamically. Hand harvested, de-stemmed & fermented in stainless steel with native yeasts. Aged in stainless steel & neutral oak.
Recommended Food Pairing: Pair with Asturias cheeses, especially blue cheeses.
