  • Variety: Monastrell. Appearance: Clear. Deep ruby with a purple rim. Nose: Clean. Pronounced dark fruit notes, thyme & crushed black pepper. Palate: Dry. Full-bodied. Generous in structure with a long, impressive finish. Vinification: From vines planted in 1940, in stony soil. Fermented in wooden tanks, then aged 18 months in French oak & two years in bottle. Recommended Food Pairings: Asian vegetable stir fry or short ribs.
