Appearance: Clear, deep ruby.
Nose: Clean, medium (+) ripe, dark berries and cherry jam with perfumed aromas of vanilla and incense. Aromatically complex from bottle aging.
Palate: Dry. Medium bodied, grainy tannins with good acidity and minerality. Subtle, ripe fruit with a slight, pleasant bitterness.
Vinification: Produced by Benjamin Rothschild & Vega Sicilia, aged an extra year in bottle. Aged 14 months in the finest new French oak & another 2 years in bottle.
Recommended Food Pairing: Cured meats.
