Varieties: Macabeo & Viura.
Appearance: Clear. Pale lemon in color with brilliant reflections.
Nose: Clean. Medium intense aromas. Subtle citrus, floral & ripe fruit aromas as well as minerality.
Palate: Dry. Full-bodied. Voluptuous, silky & voluminous in body with great persistence. Creamy, well structured with ripe fruit flavor & good acidity.
Vinification: From an estate who own 56 hectares of vines, seperated into 92 different plots. These cover 14 different individual terroirs that are tended to individually. This particular wine is produced from a single vineyard of vines planted in 1970 which are hand harvested, softly pressed & fermented in new French oak. Aged on its lees for 8 months with a twice weekly battonage.
Recommended Food Pairing: Grilled shrimp in a cream or butter sauce.
