Varieties: 80% Monastrell & 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Appearance: Clear. Medium ruby with a garnet rim.
Nose: Clean. Pronounced ripe red fruit notes complicated by spiced, toasted notes from barrel aging.
Palate: Dry. Full-bodied with ripe, soft tannins & great persistence.
Vinification: Hand harvested from 50-year-old vines grown in northern Murcía. Fermented for 10 days with temperature control with a 15 day maceration. Aged in French & American oak for 18 months.
Recommended Food Pairing: Grilled steak with toasted spice vinaigrette.
