Varieties: 90% Tempranillo & 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Appearance: Clear. Deep ruby red in color.
Nose: Clean. Medium (+) intense. Ripe plum, blackberry & oak on the nose with hints of vanilla and lavender. Blueberry, cassis and aging notes.
Palate: Thick, full body. Smooth, suave texture. Soft tannins, a mouth-filling wine with lots of fruit; blueberries, black currants and hints of licorice. Medium length finish.
Vinification: From younger vineyards, planted in soils of various composition making for a complex wine. Manually harvested, fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged 12 months in 3-year-old French oak barrels.
Recommended Food Pairing: Iberian cured meat or legumes.
