Varieties: 75% Garnacha & 25% Syrah.
Appearance: Clear. Medium ruby.
Nose: Clean. Medium-intense. Raspberry, smoked meat, black pepper & licorice aromas.
Palate: Dry. Medium-bodied. Concentrated, sweet & dense with bright acidity adding lift & cut to the smoky, vaguely gamy finish, which features bitter cherry & smoke notes.
Vinification: This is the most sought after wine from the region. Manually harvested, with 15 days of maceration and aging on the lees.
Recommended Food Pairing: Oxtail & other stews.
