Varieties: 80% Tempranillo, 20% Mazuelo & Graciano.
Appearance: Clear. Garnet with a maroon rim.
Nose: Clean. Pronounced ripe & preserved red fruit aromas with complex, earthy aging notes.
Palate: Dry. Medium bodied with juicy fruit flavors, balanced acidity & soft, supple tannins.
Vinification: Produced by a younger, family-owned estate in the Haro district of Rioja Alta from fruit grown on their "Bikandi" vineyard on the Ebro river, 435m above sea level. Aged 24 months in French & American oak vats & 36 months in bottle.
Recommended Food Pairing: Rosemary braised lamb shanks.
