Appearance: Opaque ruby in the glass.
Nose: Clean. Spicy, pronounced aromas of blueberry, violet, licorice, cola & black pepper.
Palate: Dry. Medium (+) bodied. Highly concentrated, vivacious & precise. Inky dark berry, floral with rich mocha & smoky minerality. A finish filled with smooth tannins and lingering floral notes. Oak aging notes of exotic spices, cedar, cinnamon and black pepper.
Vinification: Biodynamic, sourced from 20-60-year-old vines grown in chalky clay soil. Aged in new French oak, bottled without being fined or filtered.
Recommended Food Pairing: Lamb, steak, blue cheese, beef stew & roasted root vegetables.
