Nose: Clean. Medium-intense. Aromas of sage and cinnamon mixed into dark, fruit and mineral notes. Baking spices, coffee and toasted vanilla.
Palate: Dry. Medium-bodied. Ripe red and black fruit flavors presented in a round mouthfeel with soft tannins and an elegant finish.
Vinification: Produced in Rioja Alta from vineyards averaging 35-years-old, grown in chalky clay soil. Aged in French oak for 24 months, and 2 years in bottle. Hand picked, each varietal is vinified separately using malolactic fermentation in French oak with 20 days of maceration with skin contact. Made in a modern Rioja style.
