Nose: Clean medium intense fruit aromas & hints of fennel.
Palate: Dry. Rich, full-bodied. Peach notes with generous round mouthfeel. In the vein of the great white wines from the Northern Rhone.
Vinification: (4 Monkeys) is a project started in 2010 by 4 wine savvy friends - Javier García, Laura Robles, David Velasco and David Moreno – in the Gredos mountains, west of Madrid. 95 year old vines grown on granitic soils of the area - utilizing organic viticulture and natural winemaking methods – such as wild yeasts and whole grape clusters for fermentation, foot-trodding the grapes for minimal extraction, little sulfur, and minimal oak treatment (just used 300 and 500 liter barrels for 10 months).
