Valduero "1 Cepa" 2016, Ribera del Duero

Named due to the bodega’s practice of fruit from one vine for one bottle, this Una Cepa is developing marvelously.  Aged for 18 months in oak barrels and some time in bottle, showing nice exotic red and black fruits, peppery and herbal, with classic vanilla and tobacco notes.  Tannins are finely polished.  Can still be cellared, also drinking beautifully now.
