Nose: Aromas of strawberry jam & black cherry; perfumed & lively.
Palate: Notes of ripe huckleberry & raspberry preserve on the palate. Supple acidity balances the fruit. Light-medium bodied with a bright red fruit finish.
Vinification: Produced from grapes grown on old vines at 3,000 ft in the Sierra de Gredos to the west of Madrid. Hand harvested & fermented using natural yeast in open vats with 40-60 days of maceration before being aged 5 months in foudre & French oak. Organic, practicing biodynamic.
