Land long ago given to the Carthisian monks dedicated to viticulture is the the inspiration for Agustí Torelló Roca of Penedès to set up shop among the vines (up to 80+ yrs old) with some of the highest elevations in Montsant.  The clay- calcareous, and racorell slate soils set the stage for fresher fruit and a mineral backbone.  Vivid, bright, and elegant.
