From the excellent 2010 vintage, a contemporary Reserva from an innovative family-owned winery in Rioja Alavesa.  Fat, sweet and concentrated in its mid-youth, now with extensive cellaring revealing very relaxed blackberry, cassis and plum fruits.  Tannins are elegant and soft.  Complex and multi-layered.  Earthy and herbal.  Amazing, from a stellar vintage.
