Finca Allende Tinto 2009

  • Variety: 100% Tempranillo.

    Appearance: Intense cherry colour with purple hints.

    Nose: Pronounced notes of dark berries, cedar, some tobacco.

    Palate: Dry, medium-full bodied. Balanced notes of blackberries, toast, and semi-modern aspects reminiscent to a pipe-shop with worn leather chairs.

    Vinification: 45 year old vines in Rioja Alta, organic practises and no herbicides used. 14 months in French oak, bottled unfined and unfiltered.

    Recommended Food Pairing: Roasted goose or crispy pork belly.
