The wine is the brainchild of Agustí Torelló Roca of Penedès in a nod to the Carthusian monks who cultivated the land.  The vines grow in some of the highest elevations in Montsant, yielding fresher fruit, harvested manually.  Wild and artisanal with tons of verve.
