Daniel Landi Las Iruelas 2018, GredosRegular price $155.00
Variety: 100% Garnacha. Appearance: Clear, bright ruby-red. Nose: Clean. Medium intense. Fresh in style with notes of red fruits, laurel, dried roses & Mediterranean herbs. Palate: Light and fresh with real wet-stony sensation on the finish - light years from the classic concentrated Garnacha. Really lifted and refreshing. Very muscular and ambitious. Extremely sophisticated. Lots of sweet juice but no weight. And a bone dry finish in which the alcohol is barely perceptible. Vinification: 60 year old, biodynamically farmed vines on sand and granite soils at 900 meters in the Sierra de Gredos Mountains. Hand-harvested, partially whole cluster, and aged in foudre for about a year. Recommended Food Pairing: Roasted duck or cassoulet.
