Envínate "Lousas de Aldea" 2020, Galicia

The Envínate eye towards Ribeira Sacra has gotten keener.  Mostly slate (lousas) soils are the building blocks for this mostly 60+ year old mencía.  Vinified with 40% whole clusters, peppery and herbal, this village wine of profound red fruit should start to round out circa 2023.
