Jose Antonio Garcia Unculín Tinto 2017 (1.5L) Bierzo

Working out of the heart of Bierzo, Valtuille de Abajo, Julia Pena and Jose Antonio Garcia have restored 80-120 year old mencia vines to produce mineral driven mencía in contrast to some of the weightier styles of reds that hail from the region.  The 2017 vintage is well suited for cellar aging, especially in Magnum format.
