The 2020 vintage was disastrous for Oriol Artigas, with mildew wiping out most of his grapes. Winemaker friends got his message in the bottle and donated grapes, hence the SOS line of wines. These grapes came from Quim Tura’s winery in Emporda. Twelve days of skin contact, the wine looks rosado, drinks white/orange, and feels light red. A true enigma and wonderful whirlwind of a wine.
