Tardencuba Crianza 2016, Toro

Third gen. family winery who farm 60-year-old pre-phylloxera vines.  This crianza spends a year in French oak barrels and another in bottle.  The longer elaboration in the cellar rounds out the robust, dark fruit flavors, vanilla, and oak – medium-bodied and earthy with a touch of chocolate.  A real find.
