Enric Soler
Enric Soler, a former Spanish sommelier of the year who inherited a small parcel and farmhouse in Alt-Penedès from his grandfather in 2004. Enric has been recuperating and revitalizing old vine Xarel-lo (planted in 1945) and crafting exhilarating, ageworthy wines ever since.
Xarel-lo, essential to the traditional Cava blend, provides balanced acidity and aromatics, but shares the spotlight with Macabeo and Parellada.
On its own, Enric showcases Xarel-lo's expressive nature and electric essence, securing its place as a vital addition to the Spanish winescape and the world.
With just under three total hectares, production is tiny. Biodynamic farming in the vineyards, minimum intervention and vessel experimentation in the cellar, the wines are testaments to the unique qualities of the varietal.
