Gins of Summer

From coast to coast (and the islands), Spain fashions a wide array of gins. Distilled from grains or wine, gins are crafted to reflect local Mediterranean or Atlantic botanicals. 

To complement the classic juniper berry flavor, carefully selected botanicals such as olives, rosemary, basil, thyme, hibiscus, and eucalyptus help drive the distinctive profiles of each gin – herbal, floral, fruity and savory.

The classic cocktail in Spain is the gin tonic, with martinis running second.  

Gin Tonics can be garnished with a variety of fresh herbs, fruits, and vegetables.

Gin Tonic is typically served in a large, balloon-shaped glass filled with ice, which allows room for the garnishes and highlights the drink's aromatics.
