A real treat from Alberto and Sylvia, who turn their gaze on native red varietals for this very limited Galician tinto.  Vine ages range from 15 to 90 years growing on granite, clay, sandy soils.  Grapes are hand-harvested, foot-trodden, whole cluster and fermented in used French oak barrels and stainless-steel tanks with native yeasts. Raspberry, dark licorice, herbal, peppery and coiled.
