Clos Lentiscus

Clos Lentiscus

“When you taste a wine, it should inspire an experience of the place it comes from.” Manel Aviño

Tucked into the Garraf mountains south of Barcelona, and straddling the Mediterranean Sea in Sant Pere de Ribes, you’ll encounter Can Ramon, a 14th century farmhouse that brothers Manel and Joan Aviño brought back to life in 2001.  Today Clos Lentiscus is a winery unmistakably Alt Penedès, a terruño with soils enriched by marine fossils - seaside minerality.

Eco-responsible farming with no chemicals, following the moon’s cycles for planting, pruning, harvesting and bottling, fermentation with native wild yeasts, and no added sulfites.

The Vanguard for New Spain.
