Osborne

Osborne

One of the historic names in the world of sherry, Osborne stands tall among the most iconic producers in Spain.  The bodega dates back to 1772 (Duff Gordon Co.), but it wasn’t until 1804 that the English entrepreneur Thomas Osborne Mann started shipping his own sherries until full acquisition by the Osborne family in 1872.

Osborne produces a wide range of sherries including very rare wines from La Honda bodega in El Puerto de Santa María and soleras acquired from Domecq.  You may recognize their iconic logo of the Toro Negro scattered about the highways throughout Spain.  The black bull was used for advertisement of a popular brandy, Veterano, and has since become a symbol for Osborne.
