Bodegas Ponce

Juan Antonio Ponce and family have been working organically and biodynamically with the indigenous grapes of his native Manchuela since 2005.  Juan's focus is on the native Bobal varietal and others, and crafts savory wines brimming with minerality and grace.

Juan works primarily with old vineyards planted in limestone, granite, clay, and sandy soils.  Some of the vines are ungrafted and over 90 years old.
