The Envínate eye towards Ribeira Sacra has gotten keener.  Gneiss, slate (lousas), and granite soils are the building blocks for this mostly mencía blend from 25-60+ year old vines 400-600m elevation. Vinified with 40% whole clusters and aged on the lees for 11 months in neutral oak barrels and concrete tanks. This village wine of profound, wild red fruit is Atlantic fresh, floral, flinty with marked acidity.
