landscape wines · handcraft · lofty perch
High-altitude, old-vines Garnacha is the subject of dedication for Fernando García Alonso and J. Fernando Cornejo, who are part of the great viticultural movement out of Vinos de Madrid. Mediterranean Garnacha from three types of granite, with vines aging from 50-70 years. Hand-harvested, foot-trodden, fermented with natural yeasts in French oak vats, and aged for one year in French oak barrels and foudres. Ruby red with crunchy strawberry, raspberry, and pomegranate, herbal and mineral. Bouncy and sophisticated, great depth.
