A single parcel vino named after Carmen’s grandmother, sourced from 90-year-old vines cultivated on terraces located on the lower banks of the Ebro river in Rioja Alavesa, with a sandy/limestone composite which makes for fresher wines. Aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels - dark cherry, plum, licorice with nice acidity and fine-grained tannins – spicy and silky.
