Drawn from a solera first established in 1918 by Pedro Domecq, this celebrated solera was acquired by Lustau in 2008. Rather than relocate the botas to a new building, Lustau chose to preserve the solera in place, maintaining the original bodega and the delicate microclimate that has quietly shaped the wine for more than a century.  Aged biologically (without flor) for 10 to 12 years. Toasted nuts, toffee, smoke and oak, a wallop of tobacco and chocolate, touch of orange - rich and spicy.
