Bodegas AGE was founded in 1881 by Félix Azpilicueta Martínez in Fuenmayor. Joined by two established winemaking families, García and Entreña, together they established winemaking excellence by crafting wines that stand the test of time.  In Rioja Alta, 1970 was a great vintage for wines destined for decades of cellaring. Earthy, elegant, slightly oxidative wine showing much complexity of fruit, dried candied dates, cranberry, pomegranate, nutty rancio, leather and spice – savory and vibrant.
