Prado Enea is made from a late careful selection of plots located near the northwest villages of Rioja Alta and including some high alt. Garnacha from Tudelilla. Three years of aging in French and American oak barrels, plus extensive bottle maturation in cellar.  Classic characteristics in spades - dark fruit, cassis, plum, baking spices, espresso, chocolate, silky tannins polished with a long finish.  Rich, textured, and vigorous, anchored by oak for long-aging - in a class all by itself.
