Alberto Orte is the man behind resuscitating forgotten original varieties from Jerez proper.  Annius is a blend of several grapes including among other varieties in smaller proportions.  A single parcel from Pago Añina, Annius is a co-fermentation of grapes in concrete tanks, followed by a year and a half of aging in used barrels, and an additional two years of time resting in bottle.  Earthy black and red fruits, roses, spicy with grippy tannins, chalky – silky southern Andalusian love.
