The vineyards around the towns of Andosilla and San Adrian near the Navarra border endure much drier weather than the rest of Rioja, so naturally their reds are comprised of more Graciano than Tempranillo.  From a single vineyard planted in 1980, Oiasso is made from 100% Graciano.  A good bit of tannic structure, dark black fruits, coffee and spice.  With the bonus time in bottle, this is just beginning to come out of its shy stage.
