Old-vines Garnatxa meets young-vines Syrah for this highly touted flagship tinto, sourced from different parcels (7 Ha) near the village of Gratallops.  Planted on steeply terraced llicorella soils.  Grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, lightly crushed, and fermented separately with indigenous yeasts in oak vats.  Aged for 20 months in new and used French oak casks as well as amphorae. Dark and cassis fruits, toasty oak accents, broad and vast, rich and concentrated buoyed by balanced acidity – exemplary.
