The Envínate eye towards Ribeira Sacra has gotten keener.  Mostly slate (lousas) soils are the building blocks for this Mencía blend from 25 to 60-year-old vines scattered through three sub-zones of Ribeira Sacra.  Vinified with partial stems, skin contact, and aged in concrete tanks and used French barrels resting on its lees for 11 months.  Floral and juicy, profound red fruit, with marked acidity and minerality.
