Flor de Vetus Verdejo 2023, Rueda

This classic verdejo is the natural complement to its sister Toro tinto made just west of Rueda.  Winemaker Vanessa Pérez and viticultor Javier Vicente are working with several small plots of Verdejo planted on sandy soils at 900m altitude.  Hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel for a bright, crisp, mineral-driven blanco with citrus and tropical whimsy and good acidity.
