Fernando Mora, MW, and Mario López extract the best out of the old bush vines from the birthplace of the Garnacha varietal. Fashioned from 50-year-old vines on slate soils, from various plots spread throughout 8 hectares at 700m elevation.  Hand-harvested, foot trodden, some skin contact, fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete, then aged for a year in underground cement.  Fresh strawberry and red currant, fruity, and juicy, with a peppery kick.
