Bodegas Arzuaga-Navarro

Bodegas Arzuaga-Navarro, a winery located on the golden mile (N-122) in the Ribera del Duero, was established in the early 1990’s by Florentino Arzuaga and his wife María Luisa Navarro. Florentino acquired La Planta in 1982, the estate situated on the region’s highest plateau (900m) in Quintanilla de Onésimo (Valladolid), and planted the first vineyards in 1987.

At present, the winery organically farms roughly 235 hectares of vineyards. Planted varieties include Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Albillo. Now in its second generation, Arzuaga is run by Florentino’s son Ignacio and daughter Amaya, with Adolfo González as head winemaker.
