Celler La Salada - Toni Carbó

Toni Carbó is a 4th generation Catalan viticultor based in El Pla del Penedès. Growing up in a family of vine growers, Toni is deeply rooted in tradition.  As a natural winemaker, Toni employs organic and biodynamic farming and low intervention in the cellar, resulting in a minimalist, expressive style of winemaking that aims to reflect the unique terruño of Penedès.

Before launching his own wine project, Toni worked closely with his friend Ramón Jané at Mas Candí. In 2012, Toni and his partner, Anna Serra, established Celler La Salada, named for the family’s farmhouse. 

Toni is part of a new wave of artisanal Catalan winemakers focused on producing natural wines that are radiant, vibrant, and true to their origins.
